The book concludes with a synthesis of investment experiences and an assessment of the transformative changes brought to rural areas by the flow of new money.

Nick Gallent is Professor of Housing and Planning and Head of the Bartlett School of Planning at University College London, UK. Iqbal Hamiduddin is Lecturer in Transport Planning and Housing and Director of the MSc in Housing and City Planning at the Bartlett School of Planning, University College London, UK. Meri Juntti is Senior Lecturer at the Department of Law and Politics at Middlesex University London, UK.
