When aliens jettison an interstellar space pod in 1959 it crashes to Earth and infects an unsuspecting human in a most sinister manner, establishing a macabre baseline of monster mayhem. 25 years later, the cryogenically frozen subject remains part of a college study. But when students Chris Romero (Jason Lively, European Vacation) and J.C. Hooper (Steve Marshall) release it on a fraternity dare, the infected subject not only defrosts to wreak havoc once again but turns the small town upside down.
