Description

A true story about the life of a horse named Noodle. In his younger years he was a very skilled Jumper. He won numerous awards for his efforts in the ring, however his owner was unable to keep him due to a job transfer and was sold to a woman who ran a riding school. Poor Noodle only wanted to show off his wonderful skills but proved too much for riders who often fell off. Even when left alone he loved to show the other horses how much he loved jumping fences. The new owner didn't understand why he jumped so much, only that he was a trouble maker. Forced to stay in his stall for the rest of his stay there, he developed sores from neglect and lost his muscle tone, he was so very lonely! One day a lady came by to see about purchasing a horse for her daughter and ended up with Noodle. She nursed him back to health but he was old now and weakly. She gave him the name of Noodle. She also gave him a new mission, to help handicapped children and adults to opportunity to ride and improve there conditions as well. So he was Noodle, a Therapy horse, for the rest of his natural life and helped many people and children due to his kind and sweet nature. This is an informative read for those who enjoy horses or how helping others helps ourselves. For new readers up to 2nd grade.
