ZAKI LAIDI is Senior Research Fellow and Professor of International Relations at Sciences Po (Paris) and at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. He recently published The Great Disruption, Polity, 2007, and edited EU Foreign Policy in a Globalized World, Routledge, 2008.
