Complete digitally restored reprint (facsimile handmade reproduction) of the original edition of 1903 with excellent resolution and outstanding readability. Illustrated with a picture. The layout is +30% larger as the original for a better readability. With a digital autograph by Jane Austen from her testament. "Northanger Abbey" was the first of Jane Austen's novels to be completed for publication, though she had previously made a start on "Sense and Sensibility" and "Pride and Prejudice". Jane Austen died in July 1817. "Northanger Abbey" was brought out posthumously in late December 1817.

She was an English novelist whose works of romantic fiction, set among the landed gentry, earned her a place as one of the most widely read writers in English literature. Her realism, biting irony and social commentary as well as her acclaimed plots have gained her historical importance among scholars and critics.
