Description

Around the campfire, weary travellers regale one another with tall tales of violence and horror from the frontier. When the tales fade, an old trapper tells the harrowing story of a town in the grip of brutes and devils and the lawman who came to the rescue. A lawman with half a face and thirst for vengeance, not justice. And this story is true, by God! He should know; he was there. Oakridge is the first story in the Satanic Mills Trilogy - an exploration of justice, revenge, power and identity in the Wild West. The second story in the trilogy, The Brothers McCormack, is out now. The final story, Dead Willows, will be released in the near future.
