Description

ON SLEEP is the story of our love-hate relationship with slumber. Part-time insomniac Fleur Anderson ponders the big questions: Why can't I sleep? Do politicians and other high-fliers ever admit they too are exhausted? Do they get enough sleep to make sensible decisions? Where is society heading, and why did I have that glass of cab sav?

Author Biography:

Fleur Anderson is a former political journalist and parliamentary sketch writer with the Australian Financial Review, ABC's Insiders panellist, a past vice-president of the Federal Parliamentary Press Gallery and a founding member of Canberra's Women in Media. After twenty years in journalism, Fleur Anderson decided to follow Dr Seuss's career advice to go where 'it's opener out there, in the wide open air' to explore the new world of artificial intelligence and digital communication where it's cool to take your dog to the office.
