In essence, it is an engaging picture book, with short rhyming text, that gently depicts boys and girls going about their everyday life. The real story however is in the communication between you and your child as you use the structure of this book to share your day with each other. Read it together, often, and share your life, your thoughts and feelings with your child. Why? To help your children communicate, recall and open up about their day too. Before long they will become teens and young adults seeking more independence.
