During the recent times, we have seen the narrowing of the family structure with single parents struggling to handle both family and jobs and at many times children being the lone child has no sibling support and thus the role of parents has grown manifold.Today, during this time of COVID - 19 Pandemic with schools and playgrounds shut and social distancing becoming the new norm which seems to not go anywhere anytime soon, the parent is not just a parent but a sibling, a friend and a teacher as well, while the home has become the school and the playground. Suddenly, the parent has become the whole world for the child which neither had been prepared for.
