Description

This text, now in its third edition, has been revised to present a more problem-oriented approach to learning PASCAL, without substantially changing the style of previous editions. It includes additional material on TURBO PASCAL extensions to standard PASCAL, including binary files and graphics. It is suitable for the programming novice as well as for more computer-literate students. The book includes more real-life examples from science and engineering, and encourages good practical programming techniques and skills.

Author Biography:

Brian Hahn was a professor in the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at the University of Cape Town. In his career, Brian wrote more than 10 books for teaching programming languages to beginners.
