Description

It’s hard to believe anything is free at Walt Disney World, but there are actually a number of things you can get or do for little to no cost. This book documents over 200 free or cheap tips to do before you go and after you arrive. You could save a considerable amount of money following these tips. Perhaps more importantly, you can discover overlooked attractions and little-known details most people whiz by on their way to spend money. Please note, however, that the Free-Book isn’t a general guidebook to Walt Disney World. It’s a complement to our PassPorter's Walt Disney World guidebook, which you should use to lookup locations, phone numbers, prices, and other general information. We also invite you to use our www.passporter.com web site (we have a very extensive article collection) and our ever-helpful www.passporterboards.com message boards. A word about the tips we’ve included in the Free-Book: We’ve tried to limit ourselves to items that are accessible to most visitors. There are other “free” things to do that we haven’t included, perhaps because they’re questionable practices or things that only the chosen few can receive. In general, we’ve left these types of freebies out of this e-book. We don’t want to promote unreasonable expectations. Please also note that everything in the Free-Book is subject to change and many things are at the discretion of cast members. Please respect Disney’s decision to retract or limit an offer.

Author Biography:

Jennifer Marx fell in love with Walt Disney World on her first visit as a teenager in 1983. She has since returned more than 100 times, visiting every park, attraction, resort, and restaurant many times. As author of over a dozen popular computing books, she yearned to write one about Walt Disney World but felt no interest in churning out yet another travel guide when there were so many excellent books already available. When she hit upon the idea of the PassPorter, she knew she could offer her fellow vacationers something unique and valuable. With the help of the PassPorter, Jennifer has organized gatherings at Walt Disney World for individuals, groups, and families of all ages and stages. Jennifer lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
