Description

"Paul's Letters to the Thessalonians" is a concise commentary on two of Paul's first epistles. Even though eschatology is a prominent theme in 1 and 2 Thessalonians, this book makes the complicated simple in a "common sense" approach to the Scripture. Throughout the book supplementary material is proved to give the reader deeper insight to some of the more difficult passages. While Paul's letters to the Thessalonians are often seen as a roadblock to Covenant Eschatology, the contextual evidence for a preterist view of Thessalonians is prominent in every chapter as seen in this short, but powerful book,

Author Biography:

Daniel Rogers was born in Alabama in 1993 and began his gospel ministry in 2013 with the Argo church of Christ in Cordova. After two years as a part-time minister, Daniel was offered a job in 2016 at the Piedmont church of Christ - the congregation in which he was raised. During the first two months of his new work, Daniel restudied the last days after reading comments by Guy N. Woods in a debate with former church of Christ preacher Benjamin Franklin where Brother Woods argued that the last days were the last days of Old Covenant Israel. After reaching those same conclusions, the logical end of the study began to show itself on every page of Scripture. By the end of the year, Daniel reached the conclusion that all biblical prophecy had been fulfilled at the end of the Old Covenant age and not in the remote future at the end of time. Following his resignation due to his beliefs, Daniel authored The Last Enemy and the Triumph of Christ (2017, JaDon Management). He now preaches for the Hickory Street church of Christ in Arcadia, Florida where he resides with his wife Laura.
