Excerpt from Peeps at Our Sunday-Schools Ere are some sketches of the work, and of the workers at work. They are from life.
Encouraged by the very cordial and unex pectedly favorable reception given on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean to my. Sun day-school photographs, published sev1 eral years ago, I have put these peepsf' into the form in which you now look through them. As you go with me to look at the Sunday-schools, and we enjoy our brief glimpses at them, please to remember that these pages are not meant to contain finely spun theories, or' didactic disquisitions on what a Sunday-school ought TO be, but rather pictures of what our schools are.
