Excavations by the authors Christian Augé and Jean-Marie Dentzer provide new information about this unique city.

Author Biography:

Christian Augé (1943-2016) was a worldwide respected Archaeologist and Academic. Jean-Marie Dentzer is an Archaeologist specializing in Petra and the surrounding ancient sites.
