Great thing about this pencil lead color and why so many artists use it is because once you put black ink over the top you can scan it onto your computer and the scanner misses out the blue, giving a nice clean, black artwork or design sketch. Some scanners that are more sensitive and pick up the blue can also be programmed to ignore blue hues or colour so you only get black and white in your scanned work as well. Great for someone who wants to learn to make professional comic artworks.
