Grace Maccarone is the author of many children's books, including Mother, May I?; Itchy Itchy Chicken Pox; and Bless Me: A Child's Goodnight Prayer. She lives in Scarsdale, New York. Emily Arnold McCully has illustrated more than one hundred books for children, and has published two novels. She is an avid reader, gardener, cook, and tennis player, and the mother of two grown sons, Nat and Ted.
