Author Biography:

Richard Morrison was born and raised in Iowa, and learned the value of hard work early on (farming). He joined the Navy at 17, and spent time in Japan and on a U.S. Naval destroyer. He received his B.S from Stephen F. Austin University, and his Masters and Ph.D degrees from LSU. Richard's primary career consisted of 30 years as a senior executive with Eli Lilly and Co., with varying levels of management responsibility for operations in over 70 countries. Rather than retire, he then spent the next 18 years in academia, teaching upper level business courses at a major university. Richard's areas of expertise include management, marketing, and international business based on current macroeconomics. He continues to serve on both public and private corporate boards for six corporations, and serves as a consultant for pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
