Plumage (Latin: pluma "feather") refers to the layer of feathers that cover a bird and the pattern, color, and arrangement of those feathers. Also, it is the title of this book of poems. This collection is organized around the parts of us which must touch the outside world in order to try and explain our sometimes elusive realities.

Author Biography:

Robert Francis Schatzman is the author of three works of fiction - That Which We Carry into the Wind, Built to Be Boundless, and The Space Between Seconds. This is his first book of poetry. He lives in Shark River Hills NJ with his wife Merritt and their son Lachlan, who is soon to become a big brother in July of 2018.
