The poems you are getting ready to delve into are inspired by a combination of life experiences, music and desires. Some of the experiences are those of which I have personally encountered, and others are of various friends and relatives who have confided in me with what they were enduring as well as enjoying out of life. They range from the subjects of love, heartbreak, nature, slavery, street-life among others. I have come an extensive way to approach this milestone in my life. For the past several years, I have spontaneously written whenever I felt the inkling to pick up a pen and put my thoughts on paper. Consequently, I have promised myself that I would accomplish my personal objective and publish these "Poetic Pages". I am elated to announce that finally, this moment has arrived.
