Power Games: The Packer-Murdoch War is an Australian drama mini TV series on DVD. The miniseries is set in the period 1960–75, when the Murdoch and Packer families collided as they battled for control of Australia’s newspaper and television industries.
It's 1960, and boy publisher Rupert Murdoch buys into Sydney suburban newspapers as a first step to moguldom which sees him confront Sir Frank Packer and his sons Clyde and Kerry. It's to become an ambivalent relationship, sometimes conflicted, sometimes in alliance.
