Mike Nicol was born in Cape Town, where he still lives and writes. He is the author of several works of fiction and non-fiction, including the Revenge Trilogy, A Good-Looking Corpse - an account of Drum magazine in the 1950s - and Mandela: The Authorized Portrait.
