Author Biography:

Gracia M. Grindal is professor of rhetoric and teaches preaching, the history of hymnody, and the devotional texts of Lutheran nurture at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. She has had a lifelong interest in the writing of Martin Luther.
