Author Biography:

Mary Mager has had careers as a nurse and a business owner, but her favorite job was that of stay-at-home mom to her three children. Now the grandmother of seven, Mary loves to tell stories to her grandchildren, knowing they will give her an honest opinion. Mary is also a singer-songwriter. "On Grandma's Lap" is a collection of original lullabies and bedtime songs, also inspired by the children in her life. From singing to storytelling, it's all about the kids for her. A lifelong Nevadan, Mary lives with her husband, George, in the wilds north of Sparks, Nevada, in a house they built themselves 40 years ago. It has a wind turbine, a wonderful view of the desert, and lots of places to sit with a child on her lap.
