Description

In the idyllic picturesque town of Brewster, life is calm and its citizens live in peace and harmony. So when a clean-cut drifter by the name of Whiley Pritcher wanders into town the locals dont seem to pay too much attention, at least until Pritcher decides to start-up and host his own public access radio show called What's Wrong with Brewster?

Suddenly, Brewsters serenity begins showing cracks as its locals take to their phones, anonymously, and start voicing personal issues with neighbours and stirring up misgivings in the towns local politics. But when tensions escalate to the boiling point, certain secrets begin to surface which some would prefer remain hidden. And what of Pritchers own motivations? Could his radio show be the instrument of darker intentions far more sinister than they first appeared?

Public Access is the feature directorial debut of Bryan Singer (The Usual suspects, X-Men, Superman Returns, Valkyrie), who also co-wrote the screenplay with Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects), and Michael Feit Dougan. It was a joint winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the 1993 Sundance Film Festival.
