Nathan Ishmael Sandor risked the fatwa of the Islamic clerical establishment in order to publish this book. Despite the small size of the work, the epigrams that it contains have a monumental quality because of their forcefulness and the radical depth of their thought. The book contains a program for a reformation of Islam comparable to the Reformation of Christianity in 16th century Europe. Author Biography:

Nathan Ishmael Sandor is familiar with a wide range of human thought from Carl Jung to Swami Vivekananda to the Prophet Muhammad. In his private moments he likes nothing better than to write finely crafted prose, study Theosophy, and commune with the spiritual Masters.
