"A must have for any mouse"
5 stars"

After having to suffer innumerable bad mousemats, i finally decided to spend the cash and get a decent long lasting unit. What i ended up with was the Exactmat and wrist rest combo.

All in all this is the best mousemat i have ever owned (ive been though DSE mouse pads, Coolermaster leather mouse pads and Steelkeys mouse pads). It has a huge surface area (Perfect for gaming mice and those of us with big hands) which consists of a ‘speed’ layer on one side and a ‘control’ layer on the reverse. Both layers have their own unique advantages such as improved glide on control side and improved stability on the speed side. Couple this with the aluminium plate they're both fixed to and you've got one of the toughest mouse mats on the market!

The wrist rest is another great addition and one i wouldn't want to go without. not only does it keep your wrist from aching with use but it also acts as a huge foot that extends under the pad (which is good since the rubber feet on the mat aren't the best).

Good as it is, there are still some things that could use improvement. The feet on the pad aren't as good as one would hope and have a habit of sliding around after a few months of use. The razer logo on the wrist rest only serves to irritate as it flakes off and gets stuck to your mouse feet. Finally the Speed surface clogs with gunge easily and makes for less then stellar mousing experience until cleaned, which is not an easy task.

All in all this is the mousemat id recommend to anyone gamers home users alike.

"This is a great mousepad."

Fantastic pad, Razer really do make the best gear. The wrist rest is great for those long sessions.

Another razer product that has exceeded my expectations – has two sides as well which seem to provide the best of both worlds…

Only downside would be that in winter the mat itself gets really cold – but its aluminium and you will get that with any alloy mousepad.

Been using the eXactMat for about 18 months now, and it's been absolutely fantastic. I now own two, one for me and one for the wife. It's brilliant for LANs, being aluminium it provides a good solid and flat surface regardless of where you put it – as I'm writing this I'm using it with the arm of my couch. Not sure where the wearing out sentiments come from, only trouble is that it can get a little grubby in places but a quick clean sorts it right back out.

It is worth noting that some mice do not work correctly on the eXactMat, others spring into life like never before. The Microsoft Habu for instance is amazingly clean and accurate on this mat, and even my antiquated Microsoft ball mouse works beautifully with this pad. However my older Logitech optical refuses to track on it whatsoever.

In any event, if you're a serious gamer who gets out to events, it's just the thing to keep your precision mouse at its sharpest.

The Razer eXactMat features a two-sided, anodized aluminium mousing surface; one "speed" side for high-sensitivity gamers and one "control" side for low-sensitivity gamers or designers.
