On this trip to Fairyland, things aren't as Scott remembers. There are no more fancy espresso drinks or leisurely lunches at vegan-friendly cafés. Things have changed. Fairyland is destroyed. Magic is gone. And where are all the fairies? All Scott wants to do is live a normal life in the real world. He has a job to do - he's dutifully employed at the toy store - and doing well with the accolades to prove it. Is that something he can easily leave behind? When Scott sees his foster-brother, Dillon, get yanked into Fairyland, he knows something isn't right. The fairies are up to their same tricks and kidnapping orphans once again. Because this time, it's war. All the inhabitants of Fairyland are fighting. It's up to Scott to unite them so together they can vanquish the all-powerful wizard, the biggest threat Fairyland has ever faced. In the end, Scott must decide if Fairyland is worth saving. It's full of adulterous dragons, one-eyed knights, and undead ogres. It's not exactly the whimsical place it used to be.
