Duesing is chief of staff in the office of the president, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He recently coedited First Freedom: The Baptist Perspective on Religious Liberty. Malcolm B. Yarnell III is associate professor of systematic theology at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the author of The Formation of Christian Doctrine.
