Engaged with ring.com chat twice. Three hours later they have confirmed it is faulty – I cannot enter setup mode even after a factory reset. Now I have to organize a return and replacement. An unsatisfactory experience. Also, be aware that the doorbell requires a 24volt supply – so I additionally I had to buy from an electrical outlet a 24volt power supply for my switchboard (to replace the 12 volts one).
