Banana being a climacteric fruit highly perishable in nature. Conversion fresh banana of self stable products like banana crisps, powder, chips, juice and other processed products is must ans should. This processing industry also generate good employment. By keeping these points into my made i made an attempt to prepare banana papads and crisps. Uniform ripening is more important for market purpose and some times if banana allow to ripen on plant it self it may split also. So i made an attempt to ripen banana by artificial means (i.e. Ethrel, smoking etc.).
