Description

Once her military service is complete, Melanie Kato's sense of duty is strong, especially where her mother is concerned.Medical school can wait, as can earning money. Melanie's biggest task right now is to discover what her recently deceased and long beloved mother's final message meant, and to decide what to do about her overdue funeral. Surfing big waves on Maui, skydiving over the California desert, and rock climbing in Spain take Melanie around the world, but they don't solve her problem of facing life alone. There are as many twists and turns of the heart as there are risks to take in this whirlwind trip through a mother's past--and a daughter's future!
