I purchased this keyboard after my previous one (Logitech G910) finally died. I tried several alternatives, and after hearing rave reviews about the Vulcan, thought this was worth the purchase. The looks – It's definitely a keyboard for those that want to stand out, with the great illumination effects that you can customize with the software, to the general look and feel of the aluminum keyboard itself. The mechanical switch keys are raised above the surface of the keyboard, so for those who eat at their keyboard (you know who you are) cleaning out the crumbs is easy, as it near impossible to get trapped in the internals. Functionality – I love mechanical keyboards, for me, they provide better response and feel when typing, including gaming. It's easy to touch type with, the numpad works well, and there's significant space between the letters and function keys so you're not accidentally pressing one over the other. Value – It's expensive, but I feel was worth it. I have a keyboard that departs from the normal theme, reinvents it in a nice package. I have volume controls on they keyboard (a plus when gaming) as well as the ability to control the light brightness of the keyboard. This is a premium keyboard, that will perform the same functions as cheaper keyboards on the market, but you definitely have a better sense of style about it. If you're after style, and a bit of that wow factor – buy this. If you're after a keyboard that just types letters when you want it to – buy the cheaper alternatives.

Stopped working after about 1.5 years.
Its exactly as the picture. Keys are quiet and nice to type on. There is a difference between the different vulcan models, just look in the item description and it will say linear or tactile keys. I prefer tactile so I got this one. The magnetic attachable wristguard is comfortably low-profile but it attracts oil marks. Cable is good quality braided. I don't like having the extra software running in my background processes so ive disabled the roccat driver in my startup tab (task manager). I only use the software to change the LED colours and then I kill the process afterwards. You can download it from the official roccat website if you want to change your keyboard settings.
This is a great board though im pretty sure the price tag is for elitists… There are cheaper boards that will achieve the same mechanical goals. I got this board coz I like roccat and the floating keycaps. I needed something to replace my ducky limited edition and this is the only other board that does it for me.
I have been a PC gamer since the early 90's and in my time owned more than a few keyboards. This is by far the best mechanical gaming keyboard I have ever used. The keys feel great, the Roccat Titan Switches feel really nice. Typing is fun and the key noise is really satisfying. The RBG looks amazing, as does the aluminium shell. The keys are custom designed for these switches, and they feel nice. They sport an easy to read Typeface which is a nice change from my last gaming KB. TL;DR “Very nice but very expensive but very nice”
Would not recommend.
I purchased this keyboard for my new gaming pc and within 6 months the LEDs started having faults. It was disappointing since my roccat mouse is still going strong since like 2016 or so. I also found it hard to touch type on but that might be a me problem
I have to agree with the reviews mentioning the keys dying suddenly. I've had the keyboard now for just under 2 years. I type this from my Roccat Sova which is currently celebrating its 6th year of life so know Roccat can make long lasting products. Wish the warranty period was as generous as the one in the USA.
Arguably one of the best Keyboards I've ever owned, only thing is it shows finger marks very quick, but other than that it looks great, and the keys feel awesome when typing.
While this product looks good the quality is poor, the keys stopped working after a year (common issue, google it). Only 1 year warranty here in NZ as opposed to 2 years in America / Canada.
Nice one. The feeling is between the blue switch and the brown switch. Nice feeling and easy to clean,
Quite a few of the keys stopped working after about 1.5 years
The keys will stop working after about 2 years. I looked online and its a common problem.
If your thinking about investing in a good mechanical keyboard this one is top quality. Keyboard doesn't take up much space on your desk but no usb slots & the wrist rest is kind of average (snaps on & off easily ). Recommend looking up Linear vs Tactile if this is your first mechanical keyboard.
The feel of the keyboard is good and the design but The keyboard keys stop working not long after I purchase it I have other roccat products Which I love
I'll be completely honest, I only got this keyboard because I was looking for a replacement of my rare duckyshine6 limited edition, and this roccat vulcan is the only one with floating caps just like my ol' baby. I love this roccat board though I wish they used genuine cherry mx switches and not their own roccat switches. For the uninitiated this makes no difference to you and you'll like this board… Its exactly as the picture. Keys are quiet and nice to type on. (be aware there is a difference between this board and other vulcan boards, just look in the item description and it will say linear or tactile keys. I prefer tactile so I got this one.)
