Description

In the course of three weeks, Jess is rocked to her core. She will discover, through the lens of an abused boy, events that haunt both mind and spirit. Join Jessica and a cast of unforgettable characters as they navigate rural Virginia and Carolinas in search of a battered child's identity and those who would harm him. Shocking and provocative, Jess learns where evil dwells and feeds upon the innocent in an emotional rollercoaster. Nothing could have prepared her for what is uncovered and the realization that some sins are too great to remain past. Broken and derailed, witness this unexpected heroine as she finds hope, happiness, and extraordinary love from the darkest of circumstances. RUDD is a captivating tale of the human spirit; it is earthy, direct, and lucid. Devastating yet beautiful, its imagery is deeply moving, leaving one breathless and tattered only to be revived by warmth, humor, and the compassion of a loving God.

Author Biography:

Robert Erickson, age 52, was raised in rural East Texas. These modest beginnings and rich work ethic gleaned from farming and ranching had a lasting impact on his life. Robert was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ at an early age. Robert did his undergraduate work at Dallas Baptist University and has worked professionally in property management the majority of his career. Upon earning a Master of Agriculture at Texas A&M University, he developed a distinct passion for writing. Through his novels, Robert strives to provoke psychological and spiritual experiences where readers, perhaps unknowingly, examine their own attitudes, opinions, and desires. He believes a novel is only as good as the lasting impact it applies and these are the stories he desires to tell. Today, Robert continues to work in property management in Dallas, while producing influential manuscripts each year.
