STRANGE and . . . well, not WONDERFUL then -- oh, No! it was anything but WONDERFUL at first . . . but her parents and my parents, they -- well, I tell that whole story in "How We Became the Rhombus," one of the stores in BOOK ONE of RUTHIE'S ADVENTURES IN FRIENDSHIP. The Rhombus? Well, it's this group of 4 of us, including me, that's always looking to give help and make friends.
