When handsome, charismatic pastor Samson Taylor marries beautiful Simona Keys, despite their conflicting religious beliefs, their union eventually unravels. Spiralling out of control, an angry Samson leaves for Richmond, Virginia, where he becomes the assistant pastor of Mt. Calvary Christian Church. Samson loves God and wants to behave the way a pastor should, but his lust for beautiful women takes control and he is eventually asked to leave the church. Only after an accident that leaves him blind does Samson finally seek forgiveness and, ultimately, salvation.
