William O. Pate II is the founding editor and publisher of San Antonio Review, an international literary, arts and ideas journal. He lives with his wife, four dogs and a parrot in Austin, Texas, USA. Learn more about him at inadequate.net. Ash Lange is an artist and writer living outside Glasgow, Scotland. Her work has appeared in Prairie Schooner. She is San Antonio Review's prose editor.
