Nathan wrote Brandy and Her Super Hero when he was 12 years old. This is the third book that Nathan has written. He came up with the ides for his first book, Santa and His Super Hero when he was 3 1/2 years old. At age 3, he asked his father if they could make his story into a book. In 2017, at a visit to their publisher, Tellwell Talent, it was suggested to them that they do a series of Super Hero books about all types of First Responders. And so it begins... Keven is the father to Nathan McTaggart. When Nathan was 3 1/2 years old he asked Keven What would happen if Santa got stuck in a chimney. Keven asked Nathan what he thought and Nathan came up with scenarios that could happen. Keven thought some of these were particularly cute so he wrote them down. When Nathan was 8 years old, he asked if the story could be made into a book so Keven and Nathan reworked their story into a children's book. Keven enjoys helping Nathan turn his ideas into Children's books. Sara Shinkewski was Nathan's grade 4 teacher at Harbourview Elementary School in Coquitlam BC Canada. When Keven and Nathan were looking for an illustrator for their first book, Santa and His Super Hero, Sarah approached them suggesting her class illustrate the book for them.
