Mississippi rockers Saving Abel make their full-length debut with this self-titled album. These 11 tracks fuse alternative rock and vintage 1970s-style southern boogie in a style similar to the Drive By Truckers. Highlights include the raucous first single "New Tattoo," "18 Days" (inspired by the 1970s action flick WALKING TALL), and the pummeling "Drowning Face Down."
