Description

In the early1960s, in the middle of the Cold War, the CIA creates an expert group of psychics to counter similar efforts in the Soviet Union. David Tallman, a CIA Eastern Block spy, now the leader of the group, faces off with two ferocious adversaries-the KGB's Colonel Krilov and Krilov's top expert, psychiatrist Natasha. While the two groups battle for supremacy in "mind control," Dr. Natasha vies for the position of her boss. When the Russian hard left prepares for the coup in Gorbachev's new Russia in the early 1990s, the CIA's group is asked to aid the democratic forces. For its final mission, the group is assigned to search for life in the vastness of the universe. But Dr. Natasha is relentless. Now in command of the Special Projects, she is determined to punish her former adversary. The CIA's secrets are her ultimate quest.
