In the early1960s, in the middle of the Cold War, the CIA creates an expert group of psychics to counter similar efforts in the Soviet Union. David Tallman, a CIA Eastern Block spy, now the leader of the group, faces off with two ferocious adversaries-the KGB's Colonel Krilov and Krilov's top expert, psychiatrist Natasha.
