Description

The Author's reason for writing this book is to explain what Spiritual Mastery really entails, and why the vast majority of us find it hard to attain. In particular, physical needs and wants are very difficult to overcome, the main reasons being that they not only create discomfort if not acted upon, but also provide pleasure when met, a double-whammy effect. But this book explains that not all desires have to be given up immediately. Many people will find it difficult to become a Spiritual Master in this lifetime, but a few will succeed, and all progress is good. This book covers all of the key issues in seeking Spiritual Mastery and more, providing information from a variety of sources, including Yogic teachings, Buddhism, Christian Mysticism, Islamic Sufism and Spiritualist Channeling. It explains from the Author's own personal experiences, and advocates of various traditions, what Reality is like, and what to expect in heavenly realms. This allows the reader to choose how far to take spiritual progression in this lifetime, and whether full Mastery is desirable.

Author Biography:

Andrew Lacey has had an interest in spiritual matters from a very young age, being drawn to both the teachings of Jesus and the Buddha, in particular. He has always been fascinated with Science and its search for Truth, being astounded by the implications of Quantum Mechanics, Einstein's Relativity theories, and modern ideas coming from theoretical physicists, which all point to Nature being far different to that proposed by classical Physics. As progress is made in scientific research, there is a clear trend in alignment of religious, philosophical, ethereal and paranormal views with the physical sciences. However, there remains a general view within the scientific community towards Atheism and Agnosticism, and similar inflexibility in religious circles, which in the Author's opinion is hindering acknowledgement of the Truth.
