This is a good game for adults & children & I play the larger version often. For kids under 8yrs old the travel set works really well, not so many cards, so a quicker game but still needs some strategy & concentration, not hard for kids to learn. Smaller cards are easier for smaller hands to manage & they love putting their pegs in the board.
Sequence Travel is a trimmed down travel version of the original Sequence game. The rules are the same, but the game differs from the original version in several ways:
It comes in a small, plastic playing case that contains a deck of miniature playing cards (standard poker deck) and 2 colours of pegs that mark players' cards on the cardboard playing board, which is integrated with the lid of the case. Play a card from your hand, place a peg in a corresponding hole on the game board…when you have five in a row, it's a SEQUENCE. Learn to block your opponents – remove their pegs. Watch out for the Jacks – THEY'RE WILD! With a little strategy and a little luck – you're a winner!
