Author Biography:

Hilary Freeman is a freelance journalist and agony aunt who lives in Camden Town, London with her partner. She has had six books published by Piccadilly Press and has been shortlisted for several book awards. An award-winning journalist, she contributes regularly to the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday and other magazines, newspapers and websites, and makes regular appearances on radio and TV. After various stints as a bookseller, being an extra and painting, her love of words led her to her first magazine job on women's fortnightly Real. She also worked at CosmoGIRL! for several years. After several years in London, last year Laura moved back to her home town in Hertfordshire, so that she could finally live in a proper grown-up house with a garden! Vanessa St Clair was born in Gloucestershire and lives in London with her husband and baby son. She has written for newspapers and magazines including Company, Tatler, The Guardian and thelondonpaper. This is her first novel. Vanessa's middle name is Alice, after Alice Liddell, her great-grandmother and the real Alice in Wonderland.
