Hilary Freeman is a freelance journalist and agony aunt who lives in Camden Town, London with her partner. She has had six books published by Piccadilly Press and has been shortlisted for several book awards. An award-winning journalist, she contributes regularly to the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday and other magazines, newspapers and websites, and makes regular appearances on radio and TV. Vanessa St Clair was born in Gloucestershire and lives in London with her husband and baby son. She has written for newspapers and magazines including Company, Tatler, The Guardian and thelondonpaper. This is her first novel. Vanessa's middle name is Alice, after Alice Liddell, her great-grandmother and the real Alice in Wonderland.
