R. lee Walker was born in Prentiss, Mississippi. He moved to Los Angeles, California with his parents. His mother Louvatter, grandmother Alberta, and grandfather Leroy Walker. He graduated from California State University at Dominguez Hills. Later, he completed graduate work at the University of California at Los Angeles. He worked in corporate America for many years and finished his career in criminal justice. He has written several books, Paprika Version of Wisdom, Passion For Life Reason to Live, and Too Good To Be Used. He has traveled the world and speaks several languages. He lives with his family in Los Angeles.
