In Cape Town, South Africa, not all is what it seems as fishing boats suddenly start sinking. Jason is set on seeking revenge for the death of his fiancée and pursues the killing of a specific great white shark. Sam, the head of the marine and coastal management institute, is looking for a successor so that he can retire. In the meantime, his employee, Maria, is at war with Jason and all the fishermen. Sipho's sister, Karabo, struggles to find a job and time is running out for their sick mother. And all the time, Sipho is trying to explain his strange dream. All these Capetonians have yet to realise that their fates are intertwined. They can resolve the hidden conflict brewing in their oceans and on land, if only they could just let Sipho tell them his strange dream.
