Description

Nuns are well known for teaching valuable lessons. This is a story patterned after the experience of one of the authors with her own Sister Mary Carlice. The wisdom of those lessons have reverberated through decades and guided those who were privileged to receive it. The story of the rich man and the beggar is timeless. It comes alive in a surprising way in this book.

Author Biography:

Beverly Pangle Scott is a writer of books about growing up Catholic. She also writes a monthly column in Faith Magazine. Jessica Scott, daughter of Beverly Pangle Scott, is a life-long Catholic like her mom. Although she never had the privilege of having a nun as a teacher, she loved growing up hearing her mom's stories about Sr. Carlice. Mary Louise Paccasassi Chitwood is retired. She too remembers the wonderful nuns who taught her. Her illustrations are a tribute to them.
