Bryndle Sweetwater is a fifteen year old girl who lives with her parents on an Army base in Nebraska. Then people all over the world, including Bryndle's mother, explode for no reason on April 23, 2026. Drafted by her colonel father to the US Army to help keep order, Bryndle must make choices, right or wrong, to ensure her survival in this new world.
