So, this won't be a terribly well-written review, but I love this DVD.
Footage from one of Sophie's concerts from 2002 is mandatory for any fan, giving a new appreciation of the music, and it pulls the viewer in to the excitement of the audience.
Also, songs from Sophie's low-profile band Theaudience are featured. These are also essential – providing the necessary link, adding cohesiveness to Read my Lips, bridging the gap between the different genres represented on the album.
And the interviews are great too – giving an insight into the meanings Sophie had for the songs, which make them even more enjoyable for the fan.
To sum up, this is an important addition for any fan of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, which truly adds to the enjoyment of her music.
And, search out Theaudience!
