Description

Though Chicken Soup is comforting, these days the soul needs a lot more; it needs a total and complete makeover. This book contains 55 self-revealing, Holy-Spirit inspired, thought-provoking, and heartfelt devotionals written especially for black women-one for each week of the year (three extra devotionals for Week 52). Each devotional ends with a prayer box that allows you to personally commit yourselves and to reflect on the author's experiences and your own in relation to the Word of God (Yahweh).

Author Biography:

E.A. James is a licensed and ordained minister and has been President and Founder of Fast And Indispensable Temporary Help (F.A.I.T.H.) Ministries, Inc. since February, 1999. She is also the Editor-in-Chief of FM Publishing Company. After 10 other colleges, she has a doctorate in Theology & Biblical Counseling, a master's in Education, bachelor's degree in English, and major course work in many other disciplines. Some of these colleges include: ASU, Phoenix Bible College & Seminary, University of Phoenix, USC, and Phoenix College. E.A. James recognizes that men care about degrees and titles, and therefore, thought it necessary to fulfill this requirement; however, she has come to understand that Yahweh cares nothing about titles and degrees, and that Yahoshua and his disciples were never degreed, yet they preached the word with forthright boldness and through the power of the Spirit of Yahweh. E.A. James says she was born a teacher. She has taught Bible-centered education for 14 years, public education for 8 years, Business and Technology for 8 years, and GED classes for 9 years. In addition, the author is a business owner, divorced mother of two adult children who she raised by herself for 20 years. She owns and operates Geri Lorraine Enterprises, LLC which provides consulting, business services, and grant writing to businesses, non-profits, and schools. E.A. James lived in Coolidge, Arizona most of her younger years and was born in Florence, Arizona. She grew up in the metropolitan L.A. area (Compton, California), and after receiving her call to the ministry 24 years ago and fulfilling her obedience to God (Yahweh), she returned to Arizona. It is only since 2010 that she has learned a great deal about her true heritage, roots, and identity to recognize that she is one of the descendants of the so-called "Black" Hebrew Ysraylites who know that the one they called Jesus was really of African descent and whose real name is Messiah Yahoshua. She says that although she was baptized in the Baptist Church in 1965, she did not really know Yahoshua, what his sacrifice on Calvary meant for her, and the true road to eternal life. She celebrated her rebirth in Yahoshua and accepted him as her Savior on March 31, 1987. Other Titles by E.A.
