One lightsaber is better than two!
This appealing recreation is for costuming, however, and we wouldn't recommend wielding it in another battle with the Sith. The simple “earthy” design of Qui-Gon Jinn's lightsaber epitomizes this Jedi Master, right down to the green blade and round hilt. The blade extends to over 3-feet in length and is battery powered. Recreate your favorite scenes from Star Wars with the Qui-Gon Jinn Lightsaber from Rubies! 2× “AA” batteries required, but not included.
Who can forget the epic Star Wars battle between Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn and Sith Darth Maul? Oh sure, a young Obi-Wan Kenobi joins his master Qui-Gon in battle, but it's Qui-Gon Jinn who deals the fatal blow. The lesson of exhibiting meditative patience – yet being able to fight ferociously – is not lost on student Obi-Wan. He recovers the lightsaber of his fallen teacher in the hopes of imparting these same characteristics to his own student, Anakin Skywalker.
