It's called the startup explosion, and it's getting hotter. But how can anyone learn how to kickstart a great business when everything is moving so fast, and when founders are busy competing, rather than lending a hand? If you are thinking of joining the ranks of the new startup creators, if you are already working away at building the next big business, of if you are simply fascinated by how the new breed of entrepreneur carefully nurtures a business in the 21st century, Startup Blueprint is for you. In Startup Blueprint, you will find the inspiration you need to ignite your business. By meeting Startup Blueprint's entrepreneurs, you will learn how to: - be more persuasive - maximise your opportunities ten-fold - be a better leader - put a price on yourself - become an inspirational manager - bounce back from failure - iterate on the route to success

Author Biography:

Robert Andrews is a journalist turned media strategy consultant who reports on, analyses and exploits innovation at the collision of technology and media. His writing and analysis help media, marketing and advertising industries understand technological change, whilst his communications services help fast-growing companies tell stories and create discussions that raise profiles and convert audiences. Robert was senior editor, international, for respected industry websites paidContent and Gigaom for several years, building the former a reputation for incisive sector coverage and toward acquisition by Guardian News & Media. Previously, he contributed to publications including Wired, Econsultancy and Journalism.co.uk, following a stint as a BBC News journalist, and continues to contribute to The Guardian. Through subsequent analysis reports for eMarketer, Ovum and Informa Telecoms & Media, Robert helps decision-makers contextualise trends occurring in their industries, including mobile, advertising, payment and news publishing. He has produced segments of PwC's Global Entertainment Media Outlook for the last two years. Beside editorial intelligence, Robert helps leverage real-world events to create engaging content, by stimulating conversation that shines a light on topical developments. He has moderated panel discussions, and devised events for B2B publishers and for brands in several countries, including Monaco Media Forum, Changing Media Summit and World Editors' Forum. Additionally, he has hosted corporate stakeholder sessions for companies including Google and Microsoft, and sponsored events for companies including Volkswagen and Teletrax. As director of content for a technology PR firm, Robert helps clients devise communication strategies and exploit opportunities to become authoritative thought leaders, tapping industry trends to regularly appear in leading sector media. According to The Independent, "With the media industry in strategic turmoil, Andrews' insights are seen by many key players as essential reading." Robert is a member of the board of Chapter, an artist centre and community space for the production and performance of the arts in Cardiff, UK, and around the world.
